How do I lock the door?<\/p>\n <\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t

If you are inside, you can turn the knob to lock the door. If you are outside, simply close the door. \u201cTouch to Lock\u201d will show on the display and you can tap one of the touch buttons to lock the door. Of course, you can always lock the door with the LOQED app.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n \r\n \r\n\t\t\t

Installation can be done in 20 minutes and only requires a screwdriver \u2013 no drilling is needed. You can also get one of our professionals to install it for you. The lock is certified with the European EN 1303, EN 15684 and the Dutch SKG three-star norms, and should therefore not affect your insurance cover. The batteries last up to one year, and you\u2019ll get timely notifications to replace them. Didn\u2019t replace them in time? Don\u2019t worry! The LOQED Touch Smart Lock has a jump start connector on the outside. Simply press a 9 volt battery against the connector and open the lock with your app or code.<\/p>\n

As a tenant, am I allowed to change the lock?<\/p>\n <\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t

It\u2019s a good idea to prevent access from previous tenants by changing the lock. However, discuss with your landlord before doing so. As the lock requires no permanent changes to your door, you can easily install the old lock again when you move out.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n \r\n \r\n\t\t\t

How can I give others access?<\/p>\n <\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t

It is possible to give others access with the LOQED app. Adding a new key is easy and consists of five steps. Also watch the video below!<\/p>\n

  1. Make a new key by clicking the plus icon on the \u2018All keys\u2019 screen.<\/li>\n
  2. Send the key via a secure message service such as Whatsapp, SMS, or e-mail.<\/li>\n
  3. The receiver installs the app (link #1 in the message)<\/li>\n
  4. The receiver creates an account and logs in. Attention: ensure the receiver creates a new account on their own e-mail address, do not use the previously created account.<\/li>\n
  5. The receiver imports the key to his keychain (link #2 in the message).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
